MirAqua technician performing water testing — Hanna multiparameter meter in one hand, sample vial in the other, testing at a kitchen tap. Professional but approachable.
Sample water quality report — showing readings at each sample point, comparison to WHO and NOM-127 standards, interpretation, and actionable recommendations.
Professional Water Quality Testing
Prueba Profesional de Calidad de Agua
Find out what's actually in your water
On-site water quality assessment using calibrated professional instruments. Measures TDS, pH, conductivity, turbidity, free/total chlorine, ORP, and temperature at multiple sample points (cistern, tinaco, kitchen tap, post-treatment). Results interpreted by a water quality specialist with specific recommendations for your property. Optional laboratory send-out for full NOM-127 microbiological panel.

What We Test and Why
We test at multiple points in your water system — not just the tap — because problems at different stages require different interventions.
At the cistern: Raw stored water quality. TDS tells you source hardness. Turbidity indicates sediment. Chlorine residual tells you how much disinfection protection remains. This is your baseline.
At the tinaco: After pump transfer. Compare to cistern — if turbidity is higher, the pump may be introducing air or the tinaco has its own contamination.
At the kitchen tap: What you’re actually using. After any in-line filtration. This is what matters for daily use.
Post-treatment (if applicable): After your RO, UV, or filtration system. Verifying that the treatment is performing as expected. An RO system should reduce TDS by 90%+. If it’s only reducing 50%, the membrane needs replacing.
The Optional Lab Panel
For definitive microbial safety information, we collect sterile samples and send them to a certified Mexican laboratory for NOM-127 analysis — including total coliform and E. coli testing. Results in 3-5 business days. This is the test that answers “is my water safe to drink?” — something no handheld meter can tell you.
Lab add-on pricing: +$1,500-3,000 MXN depending on panel scope.
