What It Tells You (and What It Doesn’t)
A TDS meter measures the total mineral content of your water — primarily calcium and magnesium in Cabo. It’s the fastest way to check if your water is hard (it is), compare between pipa deliveries, and verify that your RO system is working.
What it does NOT measure: bacteria, viruses, or microbial safety. A reading of 50 ppm doesn’t mean the water is safe to drink — and a reading of 900 ppm doesn’t mean it’s dangerous. For safety testing, pair this with our Water Testing Service or a chlorine test kit.
